Catalina’s Tucson facilities include indoor and outdoor spaces intended for treatment, rest, structured activities, and supervised recreation.     Catalina offers residential treatment (inpatient rehab) and our accredited Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) as part of our outpatient treatment programs. Catalina also offers aftercare planning, family programs, and alumni services. Catalina does not offer detox on-site at this time.

    With trauma-sensitive approaches and clinicians trained in treating the underlying causes of alcohol and drug addiction, Catalina fully endorses the tenets of wellness and scientifically-based approaches as outlined by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. In addition, we go above and beyond to provide a bespoke, personalized treatment plan specific to each person in our care.

    Some adults need medical detox, withdrawal management, hospital stabilization, or medical clearance before Catalina admission. Catalina does not provide on-site medical detox or hospital care. Admissions can discuss appropriate outside options and, after those needs are addressed, whether Catalina’s adult residential or outpatient treatment may be clinically appropriate.

    Yes, our mental health and trauma rehab program offerings are open to clients without substance abuse histories.
